1 serving of Evergreen's Lamian
1 cup of kimchi with brine
1 tbsp of gochujang
3 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp of butter
½ cup of water or stock
Sesame oil
Spring onion
Step 1
Finely mince garlic.
Step 2
Finely chop the kimchi.
Step 3
Over medium heat, sauté garlic and kimchi for 2 minutes or until the colour of the kimchi deepens and loses its crunch.
Step 4
Add 1 tablespoon of gochujang and 3 tbsp of butter and mix well.
Step 5
Switch the heat off.
Step 6
Meanwhile, boil lamian for 7 minutes.
Step 7
Drain noodles and add to kimchi mixture and toss to combine.
Step 8
Garnish with spring onion and sesame oil.
