150g Evergreen's Dumpling Wrappers
60g chopped scallions
1 tbsp sesame oil
½ tbsp salt
½ white pepper
Step 1
Take one dumpling wrapper and sprinkle a small amount of chopped shallot over it. Place another dumpling wrapper on top of the first one, and sprinkle a small amount of chopped shallot on this layer as well. Finally, cover the second layer with a third dumpling wrapper.
Step 2
Gently press down on the three layers of dumpling wrappers to remove any trapped air. Then, use a sharp knife to make even and shallow cuts across the top layer of the wrapper, being careful not to separate the layers completely.
Step 3
After pressing and cutting the three layers of dumpling wrappers, gently roll the wrappers into a cylindrical shape. Once you are done, gently press down on both ends of the roll to make it into a circular shape, with the filling centered in the middle.
Step 4
Gently press down on the circular-shaped dumpling wrapper until it becomes flattened into a pancake shape.
Step 5
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the flattened dumpling wrapper pancakes in the pan and cook them until they are golden-brown on both sides.
Step 6
Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Enjoy!
