200g Evergreen’s Hard Tofu
3 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
3-4 slices of ginger
Sesame seeds & spring onions to taste
FOR THE SAUCE
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp corn starch
1 fresh orange (squeezed)
Step 1
Toss the tofu in 3 tablespoons of cornflour, season to taste then fry in any neutral flavoured oil until golden & crisp then remove from the pan & set aside.
Step 2
Stir fry the garlic & ginger for about 30 seconds then pour in the sauce mix, stir fry until they are well-combined.
Step 3
Return the crispy tofu pieces to the pan & stir until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
Step 4
Garnish the dish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
